― カリタス南相馬のプランターでサボテンのカセイマルが見事に咲きました。The cactus Echinopsis Tubiflora Zucc bloomed beautifully in a planter at Caritas Minamisoma.
― 札幌聖心の卒業生 茂仁香会のメンバー3名がカリタス南相馬に来てくださいました。1泊2日でしたが、久しぶりにおしゃべりを楽しみながら、スタッフの宇根さんにお願いして現地案内もできました。Three members of the Monica Kai, graduates of Sapporo Sacred Heart, visited Caritas Minami Soma for two days. We enjoyed chatting with them for the first time in a long time and were also able to ask a staff member Mr.Une to give them a tour of the area.
― 福岡海星女子学院高等学校の生徒さんたちが原町カトリック教会に来られました。幸田司教様の話、同席された教会の会長の高野さん、小林さんの話も伺うことができ、被災された方の思いにも触れる機会もありました。Fukuoka Kaisei High School students came to visit Haramachi Catholic Church. They were able to listen to Bishop Koda's talk and also to the sharing of Ms Takano and Ms Kobayashi, staff member of the Church. The students had the opportunity to get in touch with the thoughts of those affected by the disaster.
― ６月９日（日）「第12回南相馬市鎮魂復興市民植樹祭」が行われ、カリタス南相馬からボランティアとして2名参加しました。事前準備のボランティアのために数日前からカリタスに宿泊して参加されたボランティアの方もありました。2万本の苗が約1500人のボランティアの手で鎮魂の祈りと共に植樹が行われました、無事に防災林として育っていきますように願います。 On 9 June (Sunday), the 12th Minami Soma City Citizen Tree Planting was held, and two volunteers from Caritas Minami Soma took partin it. One of the volunteers stayed at Caritas for a few days before the event to participate in the advance preparations. 20,000 seedlings were planted by about 1,500 volunteers with a prayer for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the tsunami.
― 総長管区長会主催の「いのちの旅」(6月14−16日)の参加者9名がカリタス南相馬に2泊3日のプログラムで来られました。2台の車で現地見学。5つの修道会、4カ国のシスター方。たくさんのことを見たり、聞いたりして、祈りのうちにこころに深くおさめられたことと思います。Nine Sisters from 5 different religious congregations came to Caritas Minamisoma for a three day program to learn and pray about Fukushima. Sisters, who are from 4 different countries, now live in Japan. This is organised by the Association of Major Superiors of Women Religious in Japan.
― カリタス南相馬にご近所の方をお招きして、紫陽花の花の絵を描きました。顔彩で和紙に、、、。先生に手ほどきしていただきながら、楽しく絵筆をうごかしました。懐かしい童謡もうたいました。最後にカリタス南相馬の所長のピアノでショパンの曲を聴かせていただきました。 At Caritas Minamisoma we
invited a couple of our neighbors today and enjoyed drawing hydrangea with a
special kind of water color. We sang songs together. At the end we enjoyed
listening to a piano played by the head of the center. We plan to meet once a
month.
