― サムライフェス Samurai Fest
恒例のサムライフェスのボランティアに今年も聖心女子大学の学生6名と引率の先生1名が きてくださいました。天候にも恵まれ、雲雀ヶ原祭場での楽しいイベントで地元の高校生たちと一緒に活動してくださいました。地元の方たちとの触れ合いに心に残る機会になりました。高校生たちのエネルギー、パワーに圧倒されていました。
Six students and a teacher from the University of the Sacred Heart came to Minamisoma to do some volunteer activities for the annual Samurai Fest. The weather was fine and they worked with local high school students at a fun event at the Hibarigahara field. It was a memorable opportunity for the university students to meet the local people. The energy and power of the high school students overwhelmed the university students.― カリタス食堂 Caritas Kitchen
2025年度になってから二度目のカリタス食堂。さゆり幼稚園が移転してからのことで、新しく声をかけた幼稚園、保育園もありました。どのくらいの方が来られるか心配でしたが、今回は20人来られました。卒園して別々の小学校になったこともあり、母親同士は再会におしゃべりが盛り上がっていました。
一つの家族は可愛い赤ちゃんも参加。嬉しいことでした。父親の転勤で来られなくなった家族もありました。
This was the second
Caritas Kitchen since the start of the new academic year 2025. Sayuri
Kindergarten had already moved to a new location, and we contacted some
kindergartens and nursery schools in our neighborhood.
We were worried
about how many people would come, but this time 20 people came. Some of the
children graduated from the kindergartens and went to different elementary
schools.
The mothers were chatting with each other again, as their children had
moved to different elementary schools.

除染で発生した土壌のうち放射能度の低いものを再生資材化して盛土に活用し農地を造成する事業が進められています。この取り組みを広く知ってもらうために定期的に見学会を開催しています。今回、カリタス南相馬から6名が参加しました。
A project is
underway to reclaim low-radioactive soil from the decontamination process and
use it as fill to create farmland. In order to spread awareness of this
project, tours are held periodically.
― ウクライナの３つの学校と東京聖心女子学院とのオンラインの交流会 Online exchanges between three Ukrainian schools and Tokyo Sacred Heart School
すでに4回目になる交流会。ウクライナの戦争の状況が悪化している中で子供達には楽しい思いをさせたいという先生方の心遣いで5月20日に１時間半くらいの交流会が実施されました。前回はお互いに夢の分かち合いをしましたが、今回は学校での好きな科目の分かち合いでした。参加した子どもたち両方共に好きな科目のトップは体育！ウクライナの子どもたちが次に好きなのは算数、理科。そして図工。東京聖心の子どもたちが体育の次に好きなのは歴史、社会科。英語、国語もありました。ウクライナの子どもたちの好きな遊びは鬼ごっことかくれんぼ。無邪気な子どもたちの表情が印象的でした。
This is already the
fourth exchange. The teachers, who wanted to give the children a fun experience
amidst the worsening war situation in Ukraine.
