まごころサロン手芸活動、小高ひだまりサロン手芸活動　
Needlework activities both at Magokoro Salon and at Odaka.

布でクリスマスのリース作り、ティーマット作り、着物地で作るお正月用の壁掛け。いつも楽しいおしゃべりをしながらのひととき。前回からの宿題で完成した作品を見せ合いながら、また次の作品への意欲が出て、がんばっています。
We enjoyed making an Advent wreath and other small ornaments. Getting together, showing the pieces that we made, was a joyful occasion, and so much fun. It is so encouraging to make new things.

小高交流センターでの英会話クラス   
English Conversation Class at Odaka community center

小高工房でしていた英会話のクラスが小高交流センターに移動して3回目。レギュラーメンバーは4名で賑やかに日本語も交えながらの英会話。大笑いしながら楽しく学べば身に付くと信じて、続けています。ホテルの予約の仕方をテーマにした時は二人ずつでペアプラクテイス。年齢を聞いたり、値段を聞いたり、面白かったです。
It was already the third time to have the class at the center. There are usually three or four members, and everyone is so eager to learn. This time we worked in pairs to learn how to make a hotel reservation. 

聖書の分かち合い  Bible sharing class

原町教会 での聖書の分かち合いをシスター村上がはじめられました。日曜日に来られる信徒の方を対象にはじめましたが、今は2−3人の小さなグループで楽しんでいるようです。
Sr. Murakami, a Holy Spirit sister, started a Bible sharing class at the Haramachi Catholic Church with a small class.

子育て応援、技能実習生へのクリスマスプレゼント
Christmas presents to the single parent families and the technical intern trainees from abroad 

いつもお米や食品をとりにこられる方達にクリスマスプレゼントを差し上げることにしました。支援物資でいただく食品に加えてお菓子、聖心女子大学の学生さんからの手作りのカードと小物、それにシスター村上の手作りパステルアートのカードと穎川手作りの布製の小さなクリスマスブーツ。聖心女子大の学生さんからのカードにはQRコードで聞ける聖歌隊のクリスマスの歌が入っていて、すてきでした。支援でいただいた冬の衣類もすべて必要な方たちの手に届きました。支援の冬物が入っていたスーツケースも子どもさんの修学旅行のためにちょうど欲しかったとのことで喜んで持って行かれました。支援していただいている方々のおかげで、南相馬の多くの方々に喜んでいただけて感謝です。
We prepared a bag full of goodies, a handmade Christmas card and a pair of handmade Christmas boots in addition to the regular relief food, rice, etc.
They were all very grateful. There were also lovely Christmas cards made by the students of the University of the Sacred Heart. They contained a beautiful Christmas song using a QR code.
