東京教区神学院より稲川圭三神父、浅井太郎神父と神学生3人が、東北の殉教地の巡礼ということで1週間の旅の途中に、原発の被災地視察に来られました。殉教の地をキリスト教の信者でない地元の方たちが大切に守っていてくださることに感動、感謝しておられました。Fr. Inagawa and Fr. Asai from Tokyo Catholic Seminary came to Caritas Minamisoma for one day with three seminarians. They came to the Tohoku area on a one week pilgrimage to pay homage to the martyrs. On the way they also came to visit the disaster area of the East Japan Great Earthquake. They were grateful to the local people, who are not Christians, to have kept the places of the martyrs.

早稲田大学大学院2年生の女性が東日本大震災の被災地とボランティアについての研究のためカリタスに2泊されました。現地見学とカリタス南相馬のシスターたちの活動の話を聞くことができて、感謝して戻られました。 A graduate student of Waseda University came to stay at Caritas Minamisoma. She is studying about the disaster area of the East Japan Great Earthquake and the volunteer activities in this area. She was grateful for the opportunity to listen to the religious sisters' volunteer activities in person.

京都暁星高校生5名と引率の先生1名が2泊3日で来られました。8月にも1グループが来られ、継続していることに感謝です。少しずつですが、ボランティアの方たちが来てくださるので賑やかになり、感謝です。 A group of Kyoto Gyosei High School students stayed at Caritas Minamisoma to do some volunteer activities. In August a group of students from this school came to do some volunteer work, so this was the second group the school sent in a short time.　

大阪からいわきまで新幹線、いわきから南相馬まで自転車で来られた2人組もありました。 We are happy to receive volunteers, although only a limited number at the moment.  

カリタス南相馬に度々来られるボランティアの林勇さん。南信州高森から来られる方で、この間までは台風の被害の大きかった岐阜、新潟での活動もされています。今回は浪江にある「もーもーガーデン」のボランティアで11頭の牛の世話と牧草地の手伝い。震災直後、東京から一人で来て飼い主のいなくなった牛の世話をしている女性。今は林さん、有馬さん（千葉から）の２人が常連で手伝っています。 Mr. Isamu Hayashi, a volunteer from Minami Shinshu who comes regularly to us, has been to other disaster areas after the typhoon and heavy rain in Gifu and Niigata, and came to Minamisoma to help the 'Mow mow garden', where he looks after the eleven cows and the pasture. The owner of the place is a woman who came from Tokyo soon after the 2011 disaster to look after the cows that were neglected.

子育て応援は12月まで継続することになりました。 The family support at Caritas Minamisoma will be continued until December.

東京聖心のヨゼフ会3名のお父様たちが南相馬に来てくださり、これから継続して何ができるかの下見に来られました。南町の庭の草木の手入れも手伝ってくださいました。      Three fathers of Tokyo Sacred Heart school children, St. Joseph's group, came to visit Caritas Minamisoma to see the possibilities for some volunteer work at Minamisoma. They helped us clean the Caritas Farm at Minamimachi.
